Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

The day following the chaotic events of *Friday the 13th Part III*, law enforcement and emergency responders are engaged in the grim task of clearing up the disturbances left by Jason Voorhees. They transport his lifeless body to the Wessex County morgue, hoping the nightmare has finally come to an end.

At the morgue, in a shocking twist, Jason Voorhees comes back to life. He swiftly dispatches morgue doctor Axel with a brutal hacksaw attack, snapping his neck before turning his attention to Nurse Morgan, whom he kills by stabbing her in the stomach.

A group of friends, including Paul, Samantha, Doug, and others, sets out for a getaway house by Crystal Lake. On their way, they pass by Mrs. Voorhees' grave, foreshadowing the dark events to come.

During a pit stop, the group unknowingly picks up a female hitchhiker named Bonnie Hellman. While she enjoys a banana, Jason approaches her and brutally brings her life to an end with a knife to the throat.

Upon arriving at the rental property, the group meets Trish Jarvis and her 11-year-old brother Tommy. The initial evening is filled with laughter and light-heartedness, setting the stage for impending terror.

The following day, the group meets twin sisters Tina and Terri, inviting them to join their plans. They plan a night party, but their plans are momentarily disrupted when Trish's car breaks down on the way.

As night falls, the kids throw a lively party filled with music and dance. However, tensions arise when date-swapping occurs among the group, adding to the chaos that is about to unfold.

Just as the party seems to settle, Jason begins his rampage. He first kills Samantha, who is attacked while swimming, impaled from beneath the water by Jason's merciless hand.

As the night progresses, Paul discovers Samantha's lifeless body but soon meets his own demise when Jason stabs him in the groin with a spear. The killings continue as he targets Terri and Jimmy, each meeting a brutal end.

Meanwhile, Trish and Tommy realize their mother is missing. They seek help from Rob, who reveals his intent to hunt Jason down for revenge due to his sister's death at the hands of the killer.

As the situation escalates, Trish and Tommy decide to investigate next door with their family dog, Gordon. Tragically, in the process, Rob falls victim to Jason, prompting Trish to race back home to warn Tommy.

In a final act of desperation and creativity, Tommy shaves his head and creates a mask resembling Jason's to distract the killer. This momentary diversion gives Trish the chance to attack Jason with a machete.

Despite Trish's horror at Jason's appearance, Tommy seizes the moment to regain control and strikes Jason multiple times with the machete. This ultimately results in Jason collapsing, seemingly defeated at last.

After the horrific events, Tommy visits Trish in the hospital, where they share a moment of relief, believing the nightmarish ordeal is finally over. However, the lingering dread remains as Tommy's gaze becomes unsettling.
