Fire and Ice

Juliana and Nekron unleash a wave of glaciers from Icepeak that blankets the land. Humanity is forced to retreat toward the equator as the ice advances. The icy onslaught reshapes settlements and sets the stage for a long conflict.

Nekron sends a delegation to Firekeep, ostensibly to demand surrender. In truth, the visit is a ploy to lure Jarol’s attention and set up Teegra’s abduction. The plan hinges on using Teegra’s marriage to deepen Nekron’s control.

Teegra is captured by Nekron’s subhumans and brought to Icepeak. Juliana’s scheme centers on using her as a bride for Nekron to secure an heir. The princess’s fate is sealed as the hijacking of alliances unfolds.

Teegra escapes her captors and encounters Larn, the sole survivor of a village destroyed by the glaciers. They form a bond as they navigate the frozen frontier together. Their connection becomes crucial as danger closes in.

While escorting Teegra, Larn is attacked by a monstrous giant squid and she is recaptured by Nekron's subhumans. The pair are separated at a critical moment, turning their mission into a race against time. The rescue becomes a top priority.

Teegra encounters the witch Roleil and her giant son Otwa, who intend to bargain for Nekron's favor. The subhumans kill Roleil and Otwa and move Teegra deeper into Icepeak as a hostage. The peril she faces grows more precarious.

Nekron refuses to marry Teegra despite his mother’s schemes, yet he keeps her hostage to leverage power. Juliana’s plan remains in motion as Teegra’s fate hangs in the balance. The princess’s captivity heightens tensions at Icepeak.

Darkwolf, a mysterious masked warrior, enters the fray and holds off Nekron’s horde. He fights to buy time while Larn searches for Teegra. He learns from the reanimated remains of Roleil how to locate the princess.

Jarol sends his son Prince Taro and emissaries to bargain for Teegra’s release. Larn stows away on their ship, hoping to aid in the rescue. Nekron uses magic to force Taro and his delegation to kill each other.

Larn infiltrates the ice fortress but is knocked out by Nekron’s magic. Darkwolf arrives to rescue him, and they journey to Firekeep to inform Jarol. They begin planning a coordinated rescue for Teegra.

Jarol decides to buy time for a rescue and triggers the volcano to release lava, threatening to destroy the glacier. Dragon hawk riders aid the assault as forces prepare to breach Icepeak. The plan hinges on severing the ice before it overruns Jarol’s realm.

The assault reaches Icepeak and Darkwolf confronts Nekron. Larn frees Teegra from Juliana as Nekron is slain and the glacier explodes. The lava flow overruns the fortress, obliterating Icepeak, Juliana, and the subhuman army. Larn and Teegra escape, and Darkwolf watches from a cliff before fading away.
