Das, a young man from Falaknuma, lives with his widowed mother and sister and spends his days with a tight-knit group of childhood friends. The crew looks up to two rough mentors in their town, Shankar Anna and Peg Pandu, whose influence shapes the lads as they grow. Das starts a quiet, earnest relationship with his childhood friend Tina, even as the pull of loyalty to his friends remains strong.
Shankar Anna is murdered by two gangsters named Ravi and Raju, an event that shakes Das and his circle to their core. Ravi and Raju end up in jail for the crime, and the families of Das and his friends urge them to move forward with their lives and put the past behind them.
Four years pass. Tina has moved on, and Das enters a serious relationship with Sakhi, a woman from Germany, while the pressure to secure a stable livelihood intensifies. To presentable standards for Sakhi’s parents, he experiments with the cable business before shifting toward a meat shop, guided by Pandu’s steady hand. The shop’s plan includes naming it after Shankar, and the group quietly works toward building their own enterprise with the support of the local power players who once dominated the streets. Ravi and Raju stand as the wholesale meat suppliers in Falaknama, and Das and his crew approach them for permission to establish their shop and to honor Shankar in the name of their new venture.
Rinku, Ravi’s brother-in-law, steps into a feud with Das, seeking revenge for a prior clash. In the midst of mounting tension and aggressive competition, Ravi threatens Das to shutter the shop and even hurls a locally made bomb at the storefront. In a bid to level the playing field, Das seeks crude bombs from Mallesham, with Pandu mediating to diffuse the hostilities and settle the business dispute so both sides can operate without open warfare. The conflict spirals when Rinku provokes Das and his friends to act, leading to the death of one of Rinku’s acquaintances, Anish, when a bomb meant for Rinku goes astray. A police case ensues, with Rinku appearing as the main witness, complicating the lives of Das and his circle. Das breaks up with Sakhi to shield her from the fallout, and Zoya, Zoya, the sister of one of Das’s friends, begins to feel sympathy for him amid the chaos.
In a twist, Ravi and Raju reach a deal that requires Das to pay 20 lakhs INR to withdraw the police case. The remainder of the story follows Das navigating that dangerous financial and legal bind, trying to stay alive along with his friends while fending off further assassination attempts from Rinku, all while keeping hope intact in a world where loyalties are tested and danger looms at every corner.
