Even Lambs Have Teeth

After graduating college, Katie and Sloan decide to spend a month working on a rural, organic farm. Their FBI-connected uncle drives them to the bus station and asks them to send him a daily coded text to monitor their safety. They talk about a future trip to New York City as they start this new chapter.

While waiting for the bus at a restaurant, two handsome boys, Lucas and Jed, offer them a ride. Katie hesitates, but Sloan convinces her to accept, and the two girls climb into the truck. The journey quickly detours toward Jed's family home instead of the farm.

The girls arrive at Jed's family home, where Jed's mother serves them food that leaves them dizzy and powerless. When they come to, they find themselves chained inside large storage containers buried in the woods. The setup marks the beginning of their entrapment in a dangerous scheme.

Back home, Katie's FBI-connected uncle grows alarm as the pattern of disappearances continues and he confronts the sheriff for real answers. The sheriff's assurances only complicate things. Boris, alerted to the FBI's presence, orders Jed to dispose of the evidence and bury it where others were discarded.

A restaurant employee recalls seeing the missing pair depart with two boys in a blue truck. Using that description, the uncle tracks the owner to Boris and intensifies the hunt. The pursuit tightens as more clues surface about the trafficking operation.

Katie fights off one attacker by biting into his jugular and grabs the keys to free Sloan. Sloan improvises her escape as she loses her pants, and the two make a break for safety. When the sheriff arrives, he finds a body and a police car that has been driven away by the determined girls.

The girls load up on makeshift weapons from a hardware store and steel themselves for revenge. They prepare to confront Boris and the remaining accomplices who harmed them. The plan mirrors their growing resolve to end the cycle of abuse.

Boris returns home only to be ambushed by Katie and Sloan. Under interrogation, he reluctantly reveals information about the remaining accomplices, and once he yields, he is killed. The capture sequence shifts the balance of power in their favor, at least temporarily.

With Boris dead, the uncle joins Katie and Sloan to hunt down the last of the perpetrators and execute them in increasingly inventive ways until every participant in the plan is dead. Weeks pass as they begin to reclaim their lives, their victory tempered by the memories of what happened.

Weeks later, the uncle visits Katie and Sloan as they prepare for their New York trip. Their mother asks if they should be worried, and the uncle answers with quiet confidence: 'They’re smart girls, they’ll be fine.' The final moment shows a mysterious man with a sign for organic farms at the airport, hinting that danger may still lurk for others.
