Daniela Neseri carries the heavy toll of a traumatic past that began with a brutal rape in childhood. That wound stunted her emotional growth and left her unable to form healthy romantic connections with men. As she grows older, she learns that one of her female ancestors was executed for being accused of witchcraft, supposedly a werewolf, and Daniela bears a striking resemblance to that woman. But that fragile peace shatters when another resident of the same movie set breaks into Luca’s home with two companions and subjects Daniela to a brutal rape. Luca returns home and is killed, leaving Daniela’s already fragile mind in tatters. Fueled by grief and rage, she tracks down the perpetrators, exacting a brutal revenge by murdering them, one by one. The police and Daniela’s family close in, gathering evidence and clues as they search for the supposed werewolf figure who has become the talk of the town.

The pursuit culminates as Daniela flees into the forest near the very site connected to her ancestor’s death, convinced that she is still living as a nocturnal creature. She is captured and institutionalized once more, where her life comes to a bleak end. The weight of the Neseri family tragedy lands hard on her father, Count Neseri, who also takes his own life, leaving Daniela’s sister Elena to bear the last remnants of the Neseri name. The tale closes on a mournful note: a family fractured by history, trauma, and the unrelenting grip of a legend that locals once whispered about in the margins of the world they inhabited.
