Raghu lives with his family in Pollachi, carrying the weight of a troubled past. His elder brother Thiru leaves home after his girlfriend is killed during a biking trip, a trauma that shadows the family. Raghu is in the final year of computer science and engineering when his story begins to unfold.

During his final year, Raghu meets Lekha, an actress who is forced to act under pressure. After a few encounters they become friends, and their friendship gradually deepens into love. Raghu proudly introduces Lekha to his parents, and they accept her into the family.

At Raghu's home, director Kuberan and a producer arrive and take Lekha away, threatening Raghu's family to coerce her into more films. The event leaves Raghu's parents terrified and Raghu heartbroken, believing Lekha has abandoned him. Raghu struggles to understand what happened while Lekha disappears from his life.

Four years pass before Raghu receives a call from Lekha, who reveals she is with Thiru and in trouble. She asks Raghu to come to Mumbai to help, setting Raghu off on a dangerous rescue mission. Raghu travels to Mumbai to face what is happening with his brother and Lekha.

Raghu discovers that Thiru is actually an undercover police officer trying to expose an illegal arms dealing network. Thiru is arrested and taken to court as police and goons close in. Raghu, along with Arun Bhide, fights the assailants and manages to subdue them, allowing Thiru to escape.

Before the danger escalates, Thiru gives Raghu a keychain containing a key and asks him to keep it safe. Raghu holds on to the key, unaware of how crucial it will become in uncovering the conspiracy. The gesture becomes a turning point in Raghu's quest for the truth.

Raghu tracks to the place Lekha had indicated and finds her held at knifepoint. He defeats the guards and rescues Lekha, and just then Thiru arrives, reuniting the brothers amidst the danger. The trio escapes, but the relief is short-lived as danger closes in again.

As Raghu, Lekha, and Thiru flee, their auto is caught in a violent shootout. Thiru is killed in the exchange, leaving Raghu devastated and more determined to uncover the truth behind his brother's death and Lekha's capture.

Meanwhile, Kuberan learns Lekha's location and arrives with DCP Nagaraj to take her away. Raghu confronts them, thrashes Kuberan, and stabs Nagaraj, then escapes with Mythili and Lekha, intent on clearing his brother's name.

Raghu is arrested by the police and taken to a room that turns out to be Thiru's safe house. He attacks the police in a brutal confrontation, and Nagaraj is shot by a fellow officer as the room is locked.

Saved by the keychain, Raghu discovers a table with a keyhole that matches the key Thiru gave him, and finds a hard disk and a laptop revealing illegal arms dealings by Kuberan and other powerful figures. He calls Kuberan and arranges a meeting to hand over the hard disk, while the police close in on the operation.

The confrontation ends with Thiru's name being cleared and the conspirators arrested. Raghu arrives at his sister's wedding with Lekha and Mythili, and quietly performs Thiru's last rites while telling his parents that Thiru was a police officer. In a voice-over, Raghu vows to hunt down everyone responsible for Thiru's death.
