Eenie Meanie

In 2007 Cleveland, Edie's drunk parents are pulled over after buying drugs. Edie's father urges her to speed away to save them, but the crash kills her mother and leaves her father paraplegic. Edie endures abusive foster homes until she is rescued.

Edie is taken from abusive foster care by John, a young petty criminal. They fall in love and begin pulling off robberies for mob boss Nico, who nicknames her Eenie Meanie.

Edie and John carry out numerous robberies for Nico, establishing her reputation. The operation runs with the Chaperone overseeing planning and Gary's bar serving as a hub for coordination.

Fourteen years later, Edie has left the getaway life and works at a bank while attending community college. During a robbery, she is knocked unconscious, wakes in the hospital, and learns she is pregnant.

Against her better judgment, Edie visits John, who is being interrogated by Nico’s goons. She uses her driving skills to save him, reigniting a dangerous connection between them.

John reveals he kidnapped Leo, a card counter who refused to help him, but Leo is accidentally killed by a passing truck. Edie grows furious at being pulled back into John’s reckless plans.

Nico and his right-hand man George pressure Edie to steal a car containing $3 million for a poker tournament at a Toledo casino, binding her to a dangerous heist.

The heist’s planning is overseen at Gary’s bar by the Chaperone, who treats John as a liability. Edie remains loyal to her ex, while inside help from casino staff and payoffs makes the plan plausible.

At the casino, Edie and John run into rival getaway driver Perm Walters. Nico claims he’s not involved, pushing the tension and mistrust higher as Edie reaches out to her reforming father for help.

Edie tells John she is pregnant, and they share a romantic night, deepening their bond even as danger closes in around them.

The tournament ends and the prize money is loaded into the car. Edie drives the armored Charger off the casino floor, triggering a high-speed chase. John flips his own car in pursuit, and Edie pulls him from the wreck as Perm escapes with the Charger.

Edie delivers the cash to Gary and the Chaperone as planned, but John executes a desperate plan and kills them to take the money for himself. The betrayal seals their fates in the final act.

Realizing his plan has gone too far, John is shot dead by Edie as she stops his reckless bid to seize the money.

Edie hands the money to Nico; he discovers that George recruited Perm. Nico disposes of George in the fallout, exposing the debt of loyalty and deception that underpinned the heist.

Sometime later, Edie starts her own auto repair business and begins a new life with her son, using the money to build a future away from the old crimes.
