Earth Girls Are Easy

In the sun-soaked San Fernando Valley, Valerie Gail, a manicurist, struggles with her uninspiring engagement to Dr. Ted Gallagher. Despite her efforts to revive the relationship, she feels increasingly dissatisfied and seeks comfort from her friend and salon manager, Candy Pink.

Meanwhile, on the distant planet Jhazalla, three furry beings—Mac, Zeebo, and Wiploc—yearn for friendship. Their desire leads them to crash their spacecraft into Valerie's pool, creating chaos in her serene day.

Initially terrified by the alien crash, Valerie's curiosity takes over, and she invites Mac, Zeebo, and Wiploc into her home. She seeks help from her laid-back friend Woody to fix the damage caused by the crash.

As Ted tries to reconnect with Valerie, he finds her missing and discovers her strange new companions. His investigation leads him to the alien situation, which he mistakenly believes are MTV contest winners, adding to his frustration and confusion.
