Dragonetti: The Ruthless Contract Killer

The story begins taking place in Gothenburg, a few days before the zombie outbreak, providing the backdrop for the unfolding events. The city is tense as plans are being set in motion, but the main focus is on Claudio Dragonetti's dangerous mission. His objective is to eliminate two of Ivan's competitors, a task he has performed many times before.

Dragonetti, an Italian assassin, is hired by Ivan, a local mob boss, to carry out a clean hit on rivals. His reputation as one of the best in the industry precedes him. The mission appears straightforward, involving the elimination of two targets without complications.

Despite the simplicity of the task, something unexpected occurs, leading to the wrong people being murdered. This mistake significantly complicates Dragonetti's situation, setting him up as a target for revenge and putting him in danger of a price on his head.

Dragonetti receives a phone call from someone claiming to be Ivan, instructing him to pick up a package. The caller's voice is later revealed to be that of the Zombiemaster. Dragonetti goes to a video store to retrieve the package, which he takes by force, unaware of the danger involved.

At the video store, Dragonetti is shot but manages to escape, running for his life as he is chased by a car. This event marks the beginning of his perilous flight, emphasizing the deadly threat he faces from unknown enemies.

Dragonetti makes it back to his hotel and opens the mysterious package, which contains an ancient statue and a small razor. He gets cut, and his blood drips onto the statue, summoning a demon that awakens from its slumber. Dragonetti dies on the floor but then slowly revives as the demon's power takes hold.

Revived and empowered by the demon, Dragonetti arrives at a restaurant and eliminates not only his targets but also destroys the entire establishment. His ruthless purge marks the start of his manhunt as he becomes a fugitive on the run.

Dragonetti is captured on his way back to Italy and is tortured to death by Ivan's associate, 187. This brutal confrontation appears to finalize his demise, but the story takes a supernatural turn as Dragonetti's mysterious powers come into play.

While being tortured, Dragonetti wakes up and manages to escape from captivity. His resurrection is facilitated by the demon pact, making him an almost invincible figure as he disappears into the night, leaving his pursuers baffled.

187 informs Ivan about Dragonetti's escape, fueling Ivan's fury. Ivan kills Trent with a golf club in a fit of rage and summons an elite force of former Russian Spetsnaz soldiers to track down Dragonetti, escalating the conflict.

Ivan's anger leads to the killing of Trent and the summoning of the best special forces to hunt down Dragonetti. The chase intensifies as Dragonetti becomes a target of both human and supernatural enemies, setting up the final confrontation.
