Despicable Me

Longtime supervillain Felonious Gru faces a significant blow to his ego when a mysterious rival cleverly steals the Great Pyramid of Giza. This unexpected theft shakes Gru's status and sets the stage for his next ambitious heist.

Determined to reclaim his reputation, Gru devises an audacious plan to steal the Moon instead. He enlists the help of his elderly assistant Dr. Nefario and his loyal Minions to bring this grand heist into motion.

To finance his ambitious plan, Gru meets with Mr. Perkins, the director of the Bank of Evil. During this meeting, Perkins emphasizes the need for a powerful shrink ray to execute the Moon heist successfully.

While at the bank, Gru first crosses paths with the ambitious supervillain Vector, who orchestrated the Pyramid theft. This encounter adds a personal rivalry element to Gru's plans as he seeks to outshine Vector.

In a daring operation, Gru and two of his Minions successfully steal the shrink ray from a research facility located in Southeast Asia. However, their triumph is short-lived as Vector ambushes them and snatches the shrink ray.

During a reconnaissance mission, Gru notices three orphaned girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, selling cookies at Vector's lair. Seizing an opportunity, he decides to adopt them, intending to use them to distract Vector.

As Gru initially plans to abandon the girls at an amusement park, he unexpectedly forms a bond with them. Their innocent charm starts to change Gru's perspective on family and companionship.

In a moment of triumph, Gru showcases the shrink ray to Mr. Perkins during a video call, only to face rejection. Sensing his disappointment, the girls offer Gru their piggy bank, while the Minions provide their resources to assist in the moon heist.

After learning about Gru's hold on the shrink ray, Mr. Perkins reveals to Vector that he is his father. This revelation triggers a series of events that puts Gru's moon heist plans in jeopardy.

Dr. Nefario calculates the optimal day for the Moon heist, unfortunately coinciding with the ballet recital the girls have long awaited. This conflict puts Gru in a tough position between his nefarious plans and the girls' happiness.

Feeling that the girls are a distraction, Nefario contacts Miss Hattie to take them back to the orphanage. Ignoring this advice, Gru chooses to execute the moon heist on his own, prioritizing his ambition over his new family.

Gru successfully shrinks and steals the Moon during his daring heist. However, his success is tainted when he realizes he has missed the ballet recital and the girls have been kidnapped by Vector in his absence.

Arriving at Vector's fortress, Gru trades the Moon for the girls, but Vector heartlessly refuses to return them. Fueled by rage and desperation, Gru leads an all-out assault on Vector’s stronghold to rescue the girls.

While the chaos unfolds, Nefario and the Minions discover that the shrinking effect is temporary. They realize they must act quickly to save Gru and the girls as the Moon begins to revert to its original size.

In a thrilling climax, Gru, Nefario, and the Minions manage to save the girls just as the Moon returns to its full size. The massive Moon launches into orbit, destroying Vector's escape aircraft and securing a joyful reunion.

With the girls safe, Gru reclaims guardianship over them, culminating in a joyful celebration. The ballet recital transforms into an unforgettable dance party, solidifying Gru’s newfound family bonds.
