After Margo, Agnes, and Edith return from Badger Scout camp, three Minions are fascinated by the girls' merit badges. Inspired, the Minions embark on their own scouting adventure, which quickly goes awry. Their efforts lead to encounters with a bear, consumption of poisonous berries, and ultimately, the accidental destruction of a dam, triggering a large flood. Upon returning home, the girls share their badges, motivating the other Minions to give scouting a try.
