After attempting to leave his life as a hitman behind for his family, Shuhei Sakata's past catches up to him when the Kimen-gumi organization murders his wife and daughter, framing him for the crime. Severely wounded, he survives a shooting and falls into a coma. Twelve years later, the Kimen-gumi resurfaces to attack him once more.
