Death Do Us Part

A disheveled bride in a wedding gown is found stumbling along a highway and brought to the ranger station. The on-duty ranger, Harry Simpson, asks for her name and what happened. She identifies herself as Kennedy Jamieson, and the film shifts into a flashback of the day before at a secluded cabin.

The group gathers at a secluded cabin for a bachelor/bachelorette party, but the atmosphere quickly sours as secrets surface. Kennedy's mental illness flares under wedding stress, and Ryan admits he is having an affair with Hannah. The revelation sets the stage for a web of motives and betrayals.

Derrick, nursing a desperate scheme, intends to use Kennedy to squeeze money from Ryan—money Ryan owes to a drug dealer. The plan threads through the party, signaling how far some will go to settle old debts. The cabin atmosphere grows tense as secrets threaten to explode.

Bo Emery's presence is shadowed by rumors of a missing wife, painting him as a suspect in his own right. The others note the stigma around Bo and fear he may be hiding something. This rumor hangs over the group as darkness falls.

That night, during the scavenger hunt, Derrick is brutally murdered with an axe, and the party's festive mood collapses into fear. The killer remains unseen, and suspicions quickly take root among the survivors. The cabin's shadows feel suddenly alive with danger.

With Derrick missing, the remaining party members split up to search the cabin and surrounding woods. Kennedy and Ryan stumble upon Derrick’s body, confirming the murder. Tension rises as fear and suspicion spread through the cabin.

Emily, Chet, and Hannah confront Bo, who wields the same axe that killed Derrick. The group regroups as the power goes out and the cabin's equipment fails. To worsen the isolation, the vehicle is sabotaged and every cell phone is tossed into the stove.

Fear escalates when Chet vanishes and Bo is found dying from a head wound. Hannah is stabbed by a figure wearing a burlap sack, leaving the group further unsettled.

Kennedy discovers Emily and Chet’s bodies, then Hannah’s corpse, all with Ryan present nearby. Suspecting Ryan is the killer, she attacks him and bolts from the cabin into the night.

At dawn, Ryan returns to the cabin and faces Kennedy in a brutal duel. Kennedy stabs Ryan to death after he claims he never loved her. In a frenzy, she dons her wedding gown and encounters Emily, who claims she faked being injured and reveals she killed Derrick and Hannah to protect herself; Chet and Bo were collateral damage. Kennedy then strangles Emily.

The narrative circles back to the opening scene with a shocking twist: the apparent bride turns out to be Emily Hawkins. Recovered and dangerous, Emily reveals she killed Derrick and Hannah and bludgeoned Kennedy to steal her gown. The ranger hands her a pen to write contact information, then she uses it to stab him and escape.

Emily vanishes into the woods after stabbing the ranger, and her ultimate fate remains unknown. The escape leaves a lingering sense of danger and unresolved questions about loyalty and hidden truths. The cycle of deceit closes only in part, inviting speculation about what comes next.
