Das Ka Dhamki

Krishna Das works as a waiter at the five-star Eestin in Hyderabad and dreams of a lavish life. To impress people, he projects himself as the CEO of the pharmaceutical company SR Pharma Life. He meets Keerthi at the hotel, and she falls for him because of his confident facade.

Keerthi discovers Krishna’s lies about being a CEO and the extravagant persona he maintains. The truth strains their romance and jeopardizes her standing at the hotel. She is ultimately fired after the deception comes to light.

In his desperation to secure money, Krishna is spotted by the co-founder of SR Pharma Life. The meeting offers him a path into the world of a major pharmaceutical company. The encounter foreshadows the deeper connection between Krishna and the company’s true power.

It is revealed that the CEO of SR Pharma Life, Sanjay Rudra, is Krishna’s doppelgänger. Sanjay is a rich, kind-hearted doctor who is developing a cancer-curing drug. A major investor, Dhanunjay, commits ₹10,000 crore to the project.

Sanjay dies in a car accident under suspicious circumstances. Krishna is asked to step into Sanjay’s role and manage the company and his family for 10 days. He experiences a mix of thrill at wealth and fear at the responsibility.

Krishna investigates the crash and realizes he may be responsible, as he was racing Sanjay and may have caused the windshield incident. The revelation shatters his dream big enough to force him to confront the consequences of his deception. He is torn between guilt and keeping up appearances for Sanjay’s family.

Unable to fully act as Sanjay, Krishna confesses to Sanjay’s paralyzed mother Janakamma. He then calls Sanjay’s uncle Siddharth to reveal his true identity and plan to come clean. The family awaits the truth as the façade begins to crack.

It’s revealed that Sanjay is not the person Krishna claimed to be and is, in fact, alive. Sanjay and his professor had invented a cancer drug but Sanjay killed the professor after his refusal to sell the drug for profit. The drug’s failure in trials led Sanjay to pursue his own dangerous version while using Krishna.

The professor’s murder exposes Sanjay’s profit-driven schemes around the cure. The original drug worked only once and then killed patients in clinical trials. Sanjay then crafts his own form of the drug, pulling Krishna further into dangerous schemes.

Sanjay schemes a plan to escape abroad with ₹10,000 crore and uses Krishna as a conduit to execute the heist. Krishna is coerced into helping, walking a fine line between ally and pawn. The escape plan tightens as authorities close in.

Krishna manages a break from police custody with help from allies, only to discover Keerthi’s true name is Dolly and that she was part of the plan. The betrayal alters his sense of trust and reframes his next moves. Tension rises as the conspiracy deepens.

Krishna and his allies trap Sanjay and manage to switch places with him, leading to Sanjay’s arrest. Krishna seizes control of the company assets and the stolen money, leaving Sanjay’s family in disarray. Keerthi is led to believe Krishna is actually Sanjay, and she is drawn into the marriage.

With the switch in place, Krishna marries Keerthi, continuing to pose as Sanjay. Keerthi remains unaware that her husband is not the Sanjay she thought she married. The wedding seals the payoff of Krishna’s elaborate deception.

One year later, Sanjay is shown to have developed a mind-control drug inside prison and uses it to escape. He calls Krishna, hinting at a return and suggesting the story will continue in Dhamki 2. The film ends on a note of ominous anticipation rather than closure.

The closing montage teases a continuation where Sanjay returns with greater schemes. Krishna and Keerthi stand at a new crossroads as truth, power, and manipulation collide once more. The audience is left with a promise of more mind games and high-stakes drama.
