On a sunlit stretch of the Cayman Islands, Edward Powell’s death triggers a tense family gathering at a beach house, where old grievances flare into new dangers and the line between kinship and greed is tested to its breaking point. The patriarch’s last wish is not a quiet farewell but a weekend that forces his children to learn who they really are. At the center is Daniel Powell, a good man and talented chef who is engaged to Emily Montgomery.
