Creep

London sewage workers Arthur and George uncover a tunnel hidden within the wall. Arthur enters to explore while George waits outside. Inside the darkness, a similarly injured woman lunges from the shadows, crying for help before being pulled back into the depths.

Kate heads to a party and makes her way to Charing Cross Underground station. She wakes to a locked station and an empty, silent train. On the train, Guy makes unwelcome advances until an unseen aggressor drags him out, leaving Kate with a chilling warning to run.

Kate flees the station and encounters Jimmy and Mandy, a homeless couple living in a storeroom. They agree to escort her to the night guard, but their efforts reveal Guy is horribly maimed and still alive. Mandy is left briefly alone and is attacked and kidnapped, sending Jimmy into a misery-driven fugue.

Kate manages to contact the security guard via intercom, but the guard is killed before he can summon help. Guy dies from his injuries soon after, his warnings echoing in Kate's mind.

Kate and Jimmy decide to walk through the tunnel to the next station to escape. A train slows near them, and Jimmy volunteers to confront the killer, hoping to avenge Mandy. The confrontation ends with Jimmy slaughtered, leaving Kate to press on alone.

In the sewer, Kate stumbles upon Arthur's corpse and discovers a storage facility filled with hundreds of boxes. The killer, Craig, captures her and drags her toward his murderous lair. A sense of dread grows as the semi-submerged cages hint at a methodical, brutal trap.

Kate and George are incarcerated in one of the cages and plan a breakout, eventually escaping into an abandoned medical facility. They find Mandy unconscious and strapped to a surgical chair, seemingly dead but in dire danger. The atmosphere is cold, clinical, and brutal as they realize time is running out.

Craig appears wearing a surgical gown and mimics a surgeon as he torments Mandy before attacking. He disembowels her with a bone saw, sealing her grim fate in front of Kate and George. The scene underscores the killer's method and the horror of the setting.

Craig's hideout, complete with Ray the dog and old photographs of a doctor with a deformed child, is uncovered. Kate and George realize they are running out of options as Craig lies in wait. Tension rises as they prepare for a final confrontation.

Craig ambushes the pair and kills George in a brutal confrontation. Kate must survive on her own as the killer closes in, relying on wit and sheer will to escape his grasp. The toll of the night weighs heavily on her.

In a desperate move, Kate drives a hook and chain into Craig's throat and uses a running train to tear the weapon free. Craig bleeds to death as the car rips away, ending his reign of terror. Kate's action marks the turning point in her fight for survival.

Disheveled but alive, Kate returns to the initial station as dawn approaches. She collapses on the platform, with Ray the dog curling onto her lap. A passerby leaves a coin, mistaking her for a beggar, and she breaks into hysterical giggles and tears.
