College Kumaran

Kumaran, an ex-military officer, now runs the canteen at Mahatma College after the deaths of his father and sister. He remains closely connected to the students and plays an active role in campus life. This makes him a protective and respected figure on campus.

He's deeply involved with student life, supporting youth festivals, love affairs, and campus tours. He often steps in to resolve conflicts and guide the younger generation. His presence adds a sense of security and mentorship around the college.

Madhavi hates Kumaran after witnessing a street fight that made her late on her joining day. The animosity sets up a personal conflict between the two characters.

During a campus tour, the bus crashes, killing several students. Madhavi immediately accuses Kumaran of causing the catastrophe, fueling the initial tension between them.

Later Madhavi learns that Kumaran had secretly funded her appointment as English teacher after she became an orphan. This revelation shows his quiet support that helped her career.

The ex-education minister Sethunathan, who has been ousted from power, vows to destroy Kumaran's standing among the college management and students. His vendetta sets the stage for further confrontation.

Kumaran hints that the bus accident may have been part of Sethunathan's plan to discredit him. The implication reframes the tragedy as a deliberate conspiracy rather than a mere accident.

Kumaran explains that the deaths of his father and sister were orchestrated by Sethunathan with the help of the watchman Vasooty to silence a witness. The confession ties his personal loss to the larger conspiracy.

Following the revelations, the students confront Sethunathan with renewed courage, attempting to mete out justice. Sethunathan draws a gun and threatens to retaliate if they advance.

Kumaran engages in a fierce showdown with Sethunathan and defeats him. As he stands over him, he chooses not to kill, citing the sanctity of the college and walking away.

Having proven his innocence, Kumaran contemplates leaving the college. The principal, college manager, and Madhavi's uncle urge him to stay and take up the role of the college's next manager.

Kumaran embraces a new title and responsibility, remaining at Mahatma College as College Kumaran. He commits to protecting the college and guiding its future.
