Chill Out, Scooby-Doo!

College professor Jeffries enlists Sherpa Pemba to help locate Shangri-La. Pemba grows reluctant at intruding on the Yeti's territory. They are attacked by the Yeti during their trek in the high Himalayas.

The Mystery Inc trio—Fred, Daphne, and Velma—try to enjoy Paris, but Shaggy and Scooby's late arrival triggers a mistaken plane trip to the Himalayas. They are joined by hunter Alphonse LaFleur, who intends to kill the Yeti and recruit them as bait.

Using Fred's GPS, the group travels to the Himalayas to rescue Shaggy and Scooby. The Mystery Inc. girls accompany him on the journey, hoping to bring the friends home.

In the mountain village, Shaggy, Scooby, and LaFleur meet Jeffries and Pemba, who have just escaped the Yeti. They learn about a High Lama who points to a weather station and a crystal that supposedly keeps the Yeti at bay. Jeffries becomes fixated on the crystal's potential.

Pemba explains that the station's owner moonlights as a radio DJ, which amuses the group. Minga, Pemba's sister, joins them because she has a crush on the DJ and wants to meet him. The group anticipates a looming snowstorm.

As the blizzard closes in, the group camps for protection. Jeffries secretly leaves with explosives, hoping to trigger something. The Yeti attacks Shaggy and Scooby; LaFleur's attempt to capture the creature backfires and the pair become separated.

Del Chillman, an acquaintance and amateur cryptozoologist they met at Loch Ness, rescues Shaggy and Scooby. He takes them to the weather station where he now works.

Meanwhile, Mystery Inc. reach the village and find Pemba but no sign of Minga or Jeffries. They split up to search for their friends. Chillman leaves Shaggy and Scooby to search on their own, while the rest press on.

The Yeti invades again, and LaFleur arrives to rescue Shaggy and Scooby but falls off a cliff, apparently dying. Shaggy and Scooby barely escape and stumble onto Shangri-La for a brief moment before the Yeti attacks them a third time.

Chillman later discovers his weather station is destroyed and several helium tanks missing, hinting at a larger plan behind the monster. The discovery heightens the stakes for their ascent.

The group reunites with Shaggy and Scooby in an old mine and confronts Jeffries, who is mining crystals. He denies being the monster, but the Yeti attacks, and Jeffries tries to steal the crystals.

Mystery Inc. springs a trap to capture the monster, but Jeffries' explosives trigger an avalanche. The Yeti rescues Velma and Chillman. Minga is revealed to be the Yeti in disguise, confessing her feelings for Chillman and having stolen the helium tanks to help traverse the mountain.

Jeffries is arrested for illegal mining; LaFleur is rescued and returned to the village by a mysterious entity. Chillman and Minga begin a relationship and join Mystery Inc. as they plan to return to Paris, but they learn Fred is in the Amazon and has left to retrieve him.

Chillman and Minga join Mystery Inc. as they attempt to return to Paris, but the news that Fred is in the Amazon prompts a new rescue mission. The group prepares for the journey and a possible reunion with the Amazon-faring Fred.
