On a storm-swept night, two criminals, Maurice and Arnold, careen off the mountain road when a mischievous monkey lord, Tiki, and his servant Babu pull them into a dangerous swerve, sending a yellow suitcase tumbling from the wreck. Simultaneously, logger Vick tests his newest lumbering tools, triggering a forest chase that brings Briar and Bramble—the Bear Brothers—on his trail. The bears seize a tool crate from Vick, and Maurice and Arnold, scrambling to reclaim the case, are brutalized by the bears who mistake them for Vick. With his gear ruined, Vick ends up grabbing the other suitcase before violently subduing the criminals, believing they are the bears. The unlikely trio then returns to their respective homes.

The next day reveals a startling twist: a baby girl in a bear suit sits inside one of the suitcases instead of the tools. A police alert confirms Lola’s kidnapping, and Vick resolves to find the authorities and return her. But Lola’s presence causes Vick’s pickup to misbehave, drawing the heat of a pursuing officer. After a makeshift escape—utilizing a scarecrow to free the truck and securing Lola with tape—Vick is mistaken as the kidnapper. When he tries to explain his predicament and remove the tape, Lola bites him, causing a fatal accident with the officer’s gun. Now a fugitive, Vick dashes away in his damaged vehicle.

Crushed by the turn of events, Vick vents his anger and fear, but Lola’s cries echo through the forest, pulling him toward a gentler, paternal instinct. He pacifies her with a water gun and learns her nickname, Lola, while washing her suit. Over time, a bond forms, and Vick becomes a surrogate father to the child. They travel by bike to gather supplies, though a routine trip ends with Vick’s arrest, as the police officer’s concerns about Lola escalate. Maurice and Arnold, meanwhile, are seen illegally placing missing-person posters nearby, hoping to locate Lola. In a brief encounter, they warn the officer, who is knocked out, and the duo escapes with his patrol car. Vick uses the distraction to slip away once more.

The pursuit intensifies when Briar invades Vick’s home with Bramble in tow, seeking Lola but distracted by hunger for food. Lola nearly reveals herself to Briar, who is careful yet curious, and Bramble is easily spooked. Lola slips into Bramble’s bag and the bears depart with her, returning to their cave. There, the bears and Lola form a cautious trust, while Vick confronts the destruction of his cabin and his bitter memories of the bears. In a nightmare, he longs to rescue Lola, not knowing what has happened in his absence, and a tense standoff ensues.

Gradually, the trio—Vick, Briar, and Bramble—find common ground and begin entertaining Lola with ongoing activities. The bears follow in Vick’s truck as they forge a fragile alliance, and Lola’s presence steadies them all. Yet mercenaries appear, intent on kidnapping Lola. Briar and Bramble counter with improvised pyro and scavenged gear, and Briar even accidentally incinerates a hostile airship blimp, buying the group a narrow window of escape. Still, Vick and Lola fall prey to capture, and the bears give chase in a stolen police car.

At a corporate complex, the team confronts the mastermind behind Lola’s disappearance: a CEO who seeks Lola to unlock a vault’s digital security by using her hands. Lola refuses, and he discovers only legacy relics and a letter from his father. The trio storms the vault, while the CEO makes a hasty escape on a helicopter. Briar and Bramble pursue through a warehouse, slipping past armed guards with a stealthy, comic-duet approach, and they eventually locate Vick and Lola. The chase returns to the catwalks and machines, with the bears and Vick overpowering Maurice and Arnold as the CEO flees.

The climactic chase culminates on a helicopter, where Lola wrestles with the controls and the trio fights for control. The helicopter tilts dangerously, and Vick, Bramble, and Briar leap to safety, landing in a towering water tank moments before disaster. The CEO survives but is cornered by responding officers, while Lola is rescued and Vick is exonerated as a local hero. The forest settles back into its quiet rhythms, though Vick remains surprised by the whirlwind of events.

Back on the timber line, a snowy morning brings new echoes of Lola’s importance. A parcel arrives at Vick’s door, revealing repaired keepsakes, photographs of Lola with the old adopter, and a restored letter from him—proof of his lasting regard. As Vick finishes the tearful letter, the bears return Lola in a celebratory Chinese New Year reunion, hinting at a future where their unlikely family persists amid the changing seasons.
