Fast forward to what appears to be the next morning, we meet a woman in a pristine white dress, identified as Julia, who is sporting a name tag. As she observes a plane descending towards the island, she rushes to inform a well-dressed man in a white suit, played by Michael Peña, about the incoming guests. The surroundings are filled with people dressed in white, indicating they are all part of the staff. The man identifies himself as Mr. Roarke, the enigmatic host of Fantasy Island.
The plane lands, and five new guests disembark: Melanie (played by Lucy Hale), a flirtatious young woman; Patrick (portrayed by Austin Stowell), a shy man with an army background; Gwen (played by Maggie Q), who appears uneasy; JD (played by Ryan Hansen), a boisterous jock; and his stepbrother Brax, played by Jimmy O.
