During their initial arrival, they are surprised when Megan, who had discreetly hidden on their boat, appears and pleads to be allowed to join their getaway, seeking refuge and fun among friends.

As the weekend unfolds, the group’s dynamics shift dramatically. Tyler, reluctant but attempting to be friendly, initially flirts with Megan but quickly pulls back after discovering her age. Things take a darker turn when Tyler, showing poor judgment, gives Ashley’s dog tequila and then dismisses her concern as she searches for her pet. The following day, tragedy strikes when Ashley finds the body of Keith, who is revealed to be Tyler and Kyle’s half-brother, while searching for her missing dog. The situation worsens as the group realizes their only escape—their boat—is missing, leaving them stranded on the island.

Her body is later discovered and stored in the freezer by her friends. He claims Regina left in remorse, but the story doesn’t quite add up.

As the truth gradually reveals itself, the investigators find a shovel and a mound of dirt in the caretaker’s cabin. Tyler confesses that Regina tried to leave, but he grabbed her arm. She fell and hit her head, dying instantly, which prompted him and Kyle to bury her body not far from the island. Their plans take a tragic turn when they go to exhume Regina, only to discover Kyle’s body instead.

Realizing the killer is among them, Megan attempts to warn everyone that Keith is behind the murders. Tyler, in a brave but fateful move, returns to confront the killer but is fatally bitten by a snake in the process. Jenna, struggling with guilt and memories, remembers seeing Regina with Tyler and Kyle, hinting at underlying secrets. It is ultimately revealed that Jenna is not who she claimed to be but is in fact Megan herself, having assumed her sister’s identity. The true Megan, dressed as a doctor, escapes from the hospital in a car, leaving viewers with the unsettling image of her disappearing into the night, silhouetted against the road while flagging down another vehicle.
