Black Knight

Jamal Walker, a slacker at the Medieval World theme park, is cleaning the moat when a medallion draws him into 1328 England. He discovers that this is no ordinary park and must face the immediate dangers of a medieval realm. The time-twist marks the beginning of his journey.

Jamal encounters Knolte, a drunken guide who believes Jamal has wandered into Castle World rather than a real kingdom. They travel together as locals mistake him for the Normandy messenger he claims to be. The mistaken identity tightens the tension between fantasy and danger.

Jamal is brought before King Leo and learns this is not a theme park. He accidentally prevents an assassination, winning the king’s trust and earning him a title as lord and head of security. The promotion pulls him deeper into the realm’s political intrigue.

Victoria, a Nubian chambermaid, explains that the former queen was overthrown. Jamal admits he can’t help yet, but Victoria insists his medallion marks him as a man of honor. She leaves in frustration after the tense exchange.

Princess Regina sneaks into Jamal's bed and he mistakes her for Victoria, resulting in an intimate moment. The next morning, rumors begin to spread that Jamal is more than he seems. The castle becomes a tinderbox of suspicion.

The Norman messenger arrives seeking Regina's hand for his liege, exposing Jamal as a fraud. The furious king orders Jamal imprisoned and slated for execution. The young man's standing collapses in an instant.

In the dungeon, two failed assassins speak of the Black Knight, a just warrior who cannot be bought. Their whispers hint that such a force could decide the fate of the realm. Jamal listens, sensing opportunity in legend.

Desperate, Jamal claims to be a sorcerer to frighten the crowd. The onlookers believe he casts a death spell, but chaos erupts when the executioner chokes on an apple. Jamal saves him with the Heimlich maneuver, turning the distraction to his advantage.

Using the distraction and flaming arrows fired from outside the walls, Jamal escapes the castle with Victoria and Knolte’s help. The trio retreats into the night and begins planning what comes next. The escape marks a shift from danger to rebellion.

Jamal learns that Knolte was the former queen’s knight who was disgraced when she lost her throne. With this revelation, Jamal commits to helping overthrow King Leo and restore the rightful queen. Their alliance hardens into a mission.

Jamal rallies decimated rebels and townsfolk, using unexpected tactics drawn from American football and pro wrestling to outmaneuver the king’s guards. Knolte shares basic sword-fighting moves to give the rebels a fighting chance. The plan builds toward a decisive assault on the castle.

The rebels storm the castle and are briefly stalled by guards and Percival. The legendary Black Knight charges in, breathing fire and scattering foes, only to fall from his horse and be revealed as Jamal. The revelation reinvigorates the attackers for what comes next.

Percival wounds Knolte and takes Victoria hostage as Leo weakly clings to power. Percival kills King Leo when Leo begs for safety, and Jamal rushes to rescue Victoria. Knolte then shoots Percival dead to prevent him from harming Jamal, and the rebels celebrate their victory.

Queen’s reign is restored and Jamal is knighted for his courage. He then awakens back at Medieval World, surrounded by coworkers and a medical team who saved him from the moat, suggesting the entire adventure might have been a dream. His outlook shifts; he vows to improve the park he once neglected.

Walking through the rebuilt Medieval World, Jamal meets Nicole, who resembles Victoria, and asks her out to lunch. He forgets to ask for her number and runs after her, only to fall back into the moat and wake up in the Colosseum of Ancient Rome, where lions close in and he must run for his life.
