Asha lives with her son Vinu and cares for her ill mother in a rented house. When her mother dies, Asha is left to shoulder the finances alone while grieving. The household becomes a fragile balancing act of work, caretaking, and mounting stress.

Vinu has completed his D.Pharm but has spent almost two years searching for a job without success. Unable to cope with unemployment, he resumes smoking and drinking, which strains his relationship with his mother. Asha remains frustrated as he stays in the same city, unable to find work.

Vinu begins to witness strange occurrences in the house, as if another presence lingers there. At first he suspects his mother is expressing anger through these events, but he grows convinced there is actually someone else in the home. The atmosphere grows heavier as the disturbances intensify.

Vinu’s family notices his distress and his mother thinks he needs help. After a drunken brawl, she takes him to a counselor named George. Vinu resists cooperating with George, complicating the path to understanding his experiences.

George learns from a neighbour about mass deaths in the house’s past and begins digging deeper. He discovers that the owner’s son killed his wife and daughter and then hanged himself for unknown reasons. He also notes that another bank manager tenant survived but was left paralysed during his stay.

As George investigates, he uncovers that both tenants suffered emotional setbacks that drove them toward insanity during their stays. The pattern suggests the house exerts a malevolent influence on its residents. The investigation begins to link the supernatural happenings to unresolved traumas from years ago.

Vinu tries to confide in his girlfriend about the happenings, hoping she will understand. She fails to grasp the gravity of his experiences, leaving him feeling isolated. The lack of support heightens his fear and desperation.

Vinu’s uncle concludes that he is insane and suggests admitting him to a psychiatric hospital. The family wrestles with how to respond, seeking professional help while maintaining care for Vinu. This moment marks a turning point in how the family perceives his behavior.

That very night, Asha tries to poison herself and Vinu at dinner. The plan is thwarted when they begin talking openly and recognize each other’s fears, deciding to reconcile. The moment shifts the mood from despair to a fragile, shared resolve.

Soon after, the ghosts in the house make their presence known and terrify Asha and Vinu. Their fear drives them to escape the house together. The supernatural threat forces them to confront the traumatic past tied to the home.

Asha and Vinu, now reconciled, decide to leave the house with the help of the uncle and George. They vacate the premises the very next day, stepping toward an uncertain but hopefully brighter future. The departure marks the end of their ordeal in that haunted home.
