Grave Torture

The film opens with siblings Sita and Adil living with their parents above a small bakery, their quiet life shattered when a suicide bombing claims their parents. In the aftermath, the siblings are taken to a holding room for questioning, where they discover a mysterious mixtape. Years later, as adults, Sita works in a nursing home and clings to her mission even as the world around her grows darker. What starts as a search for proof soon pulls her into a broader, more unsettling reality. Graves appear cursed, and the borders between life and death start to blur. The dead seem to suffer, with reports of grotesque signs of torment and disturbing, supernatural phenomena intensifying around her. Corpse after corpse bears marks of torment, with grotesque distortions and even unsettling symbols like snakes appearing in the places they should not be.

Despite the mounting peril, she pushes on, desperate to refute the notion of divine judgment and the existence of grave torture. In the film’s most harrowing sequence, she ventures into the grave of a known sinner to confront the truth about the afterlife.
