Zorg lives a modest lifestyle as a handyman, maintaining beach houses along the stunning Mediterranean coast in Gruissan, France. He dreams of being a writer, but his days are filled with manual labor and solitude.

Zorg's life takes a turn when he meets Betty, a spirited and unpredictable 19-year-old woman. Their encounter sets off a passionate yet tumultuous romance that changes the course of both their lives.

After starting their relationship, Zorg and Betty move in together in his modest shack. Despite their deep connection, their cohabitation quickly becomes a battleground of intense emotions and volatile arguments.

Following a heated argument, Betty violently destroys their living space, the shack where they lived together. This destructive act signifies the unstable nature of their relationship, which is filled with passion and rage.

Amidst the chaos, Betty discovers Zorg's manuscript for his first novel. Enthralled by his talent, she praises him, calling him a genius, revealing a softer side of their relationship buried under the turmoil.

Zorg and Betty move to Paris, finding temporary refuge at a small hotel owned by Betty's friend, Lisa. This relocation presents new possibilities as they attempt to escape the ghosts of their past.

The couple enjoys wild adventures, fueled by alcohol and spontaneity. They find work at a pizzeria owned by Eddy, Lisa's new boyfriend, further entrenching their lives in a whirlwind of chaotic experiences.
