Dismissed, he’s abducted to a secret UN base in the Japanese Alps and pressed into a covert project to finish the Super‑Destruction Beam cannon that could stop the impact. Lacking a rare mineral for the lens, the team sails to a mysterious Pacific island, finds Atlantean ruins, and battles a drill‑shaped metal squid ship commanded by the alien Nazu, who engineered the collision. In the climax they awaken the Golden Bat, a 10,000‑year‑old guardian poised to save humanity.
