At the Australian Wildlife Park in Sydney, zookeeper Chaz Hunt captivates the audience with a thrilling show featuring fearsome animals. Among them is Maddie, an inland taipan, who has a unique bond with Jackie, the friendly saltwater crocodile, known for regaling stories of life in the Outback.

After Jackie attempts to rescue Chaz's son, Chazzie, he is taken away from the park. The staff and park visitors view Jackie as a threat, which leads to confusion and heartache among the animals, particularly for Maddie.

Heartbroken over Jackie's fate, Maddie resolves to flee the park in search of a peaceful life. She rallies her friends—Frank the spider, Zoe the thorny devil, and Nigel the scorpion—to embark on an adventure into the Outback.

During their escape, Maddie's group is confronted by Pretty Boy, a well-known koala who tries to alert the security team. However, a mishap results in Nigel accidentally paralyzing Pretty Boy, complicating their journey further.

The gang makes their way across Sydney Harbour, where they meet Jacinta, a great white shark linked to the mysterious Uglies Secret Society. A series of chaotic events unfold as they navigate their path amidst confusion and secrecy.

Upon reaching Circular Quay, Maddie uses the USS password to navigate a chaotic melee. Their escape leads them into the sewer system, where they receive guidance from Legs, a redback spider and her crew.

Within the sewer, Pretty Boy learns the startling news that he is presumed dead and replaced by a viral quokka named Giggles. This news weighs heavily on him as he grapples with his sudden loss of fame.

The group manages to hitch a ride on a bus heading for the Blue Mountains after rescuing two lovelorn cane toads. Their presence attracts Chaz's attention, prompting an urgent chase as chaos ensues on the bus.

In a dramatic twist, the group finds themselves cornered at the edge of a cliff, with Maddie and Pretty Boy caught in a panic. They face the reality of their situation as tensions rise between them.

As the pressure mounts, Pretty Boy springs into action, summoning Tasmanian devils—Dave, Lucifer, and Beelzebub—to assist in their escape. This unexpected alliance alters the dynamics of their frantic getaway.

In a climactic showdown, Chaz unintentionally endangers his son Chazzie. Witnessing Maddie's bravery leads Chaz to re-evaluate his views, as he recognizes the animals as heroes who deserve to be free.

With newfound freedom granted by Chaz, the animals celebrate their bravery and resilience. They reunite with Jackie, who emerges as the leader of the USS, signifying a hopeful new chapter in Outback life.
