Marty, a hacker, receives an anonymous message revealing Mayor Bartlett's involvement with male escorts and cross-dressing, which he forwards to the town. This act initiates public exposure of political figures.

During a press conference meant to address the hacking revelations, Mayor Bartlett commits public suicide after his secrets are exposed, causing shock and chaos in Salem.

Principal Turrell is targeted with hacked images, including inappropriate photos of his daughter, leading to accusations of pedophilia. He refuses to resign, aiming to protect the school's reputation.

A huge leak releases private info on many Salem residents, including Grace's nude pictures, which leads to her attacking Reagan in self-defense. This intensifies the town's chaos and mistrust.

Lily's secret exchanges with Nick, including explicit videos, are leaked publicly. She faces humiliation, and her parents disown her, marking her social downfall.

Humiliated and alone, Lily is harassed and chased by a man with a knife. She defends herself with a shovel and seeks refuge in Em and Sarah's house.

Most townspeople, masked and armed, form a mob led by Nick, capturing and torturing Marty into confession, then tracking Lily to her hiding spot for revenge.

Nick attempts to assault Lily to punish her for exposing secrets, but she fights back, discovering his weapons and killing him in self-defense, rescuing her friends from his captivity.

Lily, Em, Sarah, and Bex combat Johnny and his friends, rescuing Bex and Diamond while eliminating the attackers. Lily then makes a video calling for peace and justice in Salem.

Lily's younger brother Donny is captured and convicted for cyberterrorism, murder, and invasion of privacy, explaining his actions as 'for the lulz', as the town shows signs of recovery.

The film closes with the Salem High marching band performing Miley Cyrus' 'We Can't Stop' amid the destruction, symbolizing the chaos and the aftermath of the town's violent and tumultuous events.
