Meanwhile, in Colorado, Michael continues his training, balancing everyday life with his family. He lives quietly with his wife, Helen, and their daughter Ruby, played by Cece Valentina. His work as a realtor alongside his father, Charlie, played by Paul Guilfoyle, highlights his struggle to reconcile his passion for racing with mundane responsibilities and familial expectations. Clashes with Charlie reflect Michael’s dissatisfaction and longing for a return to racing glory, especially as he grapples with the viral post that ended his career and damaged his reputation.
Determined to revive his dreams, Michael travels to meet seasoned racers like Chik, played by Ali Suliman, a former champion who had to stop competing due to a knee injury. Eighteen months later, we see Arthur fully recovered and happy, running through the Colorado mountains with Michael, who has also found happiness in his personal life — with Helen now pregnant and their family thriving.
