Bhanu, a lively young woman, lives with her uncle Bobby in Mauritius. She meets Prakash, an orphan, and the two marry. They soon have a son named Raja, and their new family begins a hopeful chapter in Mauritius.

News of a violent incident in Prakash's hometown in Rayalaseema unsettles him. He tries to contact his mother but cannot reach her, and a decision is made to return to India with Bhanu and Raja.

Upon their arrival in India, Narasimha's rivals launch an attempt on Prakash's life. Narasimha's loyalists intervene, rescuing the family and escorting them to their ancestral home.

Bhanu is repulsed by the violent, oppressive culture she encounters. She finds solace in her kind-hearted mother-in-law, who offers care and support to Bhanu, Prakash, and Raja.

Prakash arranges to go back to Mauritius and entrusts their passports to his friend Inspector Chinna to facilitate the travel.

During a wedding ceremony, Prakash is attacked and killed by Narasimha's enemies. Bhanu is left devastated, facing the abrupt loss of her husband.

Bhanu resolves to flee with Raja, but Narasimha refuses to let her depart. She protests and tries to escape, only to be confined within the house at his insistence.

Sarai Veeraraju, a petty thief with dreams of Dubai, becomes entangled in Bhanu's plight. With help from Bhanu's mother-in-law, Bhanu escapes and retrieves their passports from Chinna.

Veeraraju protects Bhanu and Raja as they make a run for safety, planning to board a train to Hyderabad. In the chaos, Veeraraju sacrifices his life to ensure their escape.

Narasimha continues the pursuit to the airport, determined to bring Bhanu back. His wife confronts him about their family’s burden in the tragedies, triggering a change of heart.

Following the confrontation, Narasimha asks Bhanu for forgiveness and grants permission for her and Raja to depart.

Bhanu forgives Narasimha, and Raja bids an emotional farewell to his grandfather. The film closes on a note of forgiveness and moving forward.
