An Easy Girl

Naïma, a naive high school student, has just celebrated her 16th birthday in Cannes. She is weighing her future and is due to start a summer internship as a chef at the hotel's kitchen, though she remains unsure. She also plans to audition for a school play with her best friend Dodo.

Sofia arrives from Paris to spend the summer with Naïma, bringing a free-spirited, cynical outlook on life. She becomes Naïma's mentor, encouraging her to seize experiences over conventional romance. Naïma is drawn to Sofia's energy but wary of the consequences.

At a nightclub, Naïma and Sofia meet Andrés, a wealthy Brazilian art collector, and his French assistant Philippe. The men invite them onto a yacht docked at the marina, with Dodo tagging along. A confrontation with Dodo's friends leads Sofia and Stewart to demand they leave.
