At Strathmore Art School, aspiring artist Jerome Platz aims to hone his skills in drawing and painting, envisioning himself as the greatest artist of the 21st century. Set against the backdrop of a campus shrouded in mystery due to a series of murders targeting young female art students, his journey is far from ordinary. Among a quirky mix of art school misfits, Jerome becomes enchanted by the older and captivating Audrey, a model for their classes.

As he connects with Audrey, he learns she is the daughter of a celebrated artist, yet his heart sinks when he sees her attraction to the reserved and traditional artist Jonah. Jonah’s art, bold and dynamic, contrasts sharply with Jerome’s more conventional style. Under the mentorship of Professor Sandford and Sophie, who provide little more than vague guidance, Jerome feels increasingly lost.

To navigate the challenges he faces, Jerome befriends the seasoned artist Jimmy, whose work embodies a darker perspective that intrigues Jerome. When he comes to the painful realization that Audrey does not harbor feelings for him, he resorts to using Jimmy’s artistic style as a way to express himself. However, this decision leads to an unexpected undercover situation that could ultimately be the best or worst turning point in his life.
