Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman

Alvin is plagued by nightmares about meeting a Wolfman. He shares his fear with Simon and Dave and accuses their new neighbor, Lawrence Talbot, of hiding a monstrous secret. The suspicion plants the first seed of trouble around Talbot.

During a rehearsal, Alvin causes an experimental accident in the school auditorium, alarming staff and students. Dave and Principal Milliken decide that Alvin should be pulled from the role of Mr. Hyde in the play. Theodore steps in as Mr. Hyde, while Alvin is reassigned to the butler role and Dave confiscates Alvin's monster collection.

Alvin and Simon begin looking for proof that Talbot is a werewolf. They search around town and at Talbot's house while trying to keep Dave in the dark. Their investigation becomes their main goal as they scramble to save the play without tipping off the adults.

On his way home after meeting his crush Eleanor, Theodore is bitten by what seems to be a large dog. He begins transforming into a werewolf at night, but during the day he behaves like a rude, sarcastic puppy. The brothers realize Theodore is afflicted and must act fast.

Realizing Theodore is cursed, Alvin and Simon search for a cure and a way to save the play without Dave discovering the truth. They chase clues across locations and brainstorm possible remedies. The clock is ticking as the next full moon approaches.

With no clear solution, the brothers consult the eccentric psychic Madame Raya. Raya predicts Theodore will become a savage werewolf by the next full moon and suggests knocking him unconscious with a silver weapon. The plan hinges on stopping the transformation before it spirals.

Alvin breaks into Talbot's home and steals his cane topped with a silver wolf head, hoping to use it as a cure. Theodore splits the cane in two after Alvin knocks him on the head with it, but the cure remains elusive. The failed attempt heightens the danger and urgency.

That night, Dave tries to apologize to Talbot, but Talbot reveals his own painful history and transforms into a werewolf under the full moon. Dave is knocked unconscious after running into a pole while trying to intervene. The truth about the curse becomes undeniable.

Talbot makes his way inside the school and chases Alvin during the performance. The act must continue as the threat looms closer to the audience. The students realize something dangerous is happening but keep up appearances.

During the chase, Theodore fully transforms into a dangerous werewolf and pursues Eleanor. The crystal necklace he gave her shines in the moonlight, reminding him of his feelings and causing him to flee. Eleanor bravely follows, determined to help him.

Theodore and Talbot confront each other on stage; Theodore bites Talbot and both revert to their human forms. Simon explains to the crowd that the bite reversed the curse for both of them, curing them of lycanthropy.

Alvin rushes up to join the applause as the audience believes the chaos was just an act. The crowd cheers and the performance ends with a sense that everything is back to normal. The Chipmunks reflect on how close they came to disaster.

At the wrap party, Talbot thanks Theodore for freeing him from the family curse and reveals he will succeed Principal Milliken as the new school principal. Eleanor heads toward new adventures, including a journey in South America, as the credits roll on a hopeful note.
