Chi Ho, a student from a wealthy family, starts at a new school where the family chauffeur’s arrival signals his high status. On the first day, the hallways buzz with whispers about the new rich and handsome pupil. He quickly notices that the class includes the prettiest girl, Princess, Xin Fu, which adds a glimmer of excitement to his arrival.
But the school’s social order is rougher than he expects. Crow and his small gang zero in on Chi Ho, pressing him for protection money. Chi Ho refuses to pay and keeps the bullying from his parents, wary of drawing special treatment from the administrators. After class, Crow and his crew wait for him to harass and beat him up, creating a tense daily routine.
A new student arrives—Eagle—a figure shrouded in a notorious past and rumored to have spent time in prison, having been expelled from his previous schools. The school dean warns that any trouble will mean immediate expulsion. Eagle is placed in Chi Ho’s class along with Princess and Crow, and his reputation precedes him: word spreads that he once served time for killing someone.
Yet Eagle quickly notices the pressure Chi Ho endures. He steps in to protect Chi Ho, and the two form a solid friendship. Chi Ho learns that Eagle’s rough reputation stems from fighting to shield the weak, a detail that reshapes how he views his new ally. With Eagle’s presence, Crow and his gang lose much of their leverage at school, and a palpable shift sweeps through the hallways—the old fear of Crow’s dominance begins to fade.
Desperate to restore control, Crow enlists outside help in the form of Bull, a Triad member, to teach Eagle a lesson. Bull and his gang attack Eagle and destroy his motorbike at school, a blow that leaves Eagle wary of returning. Rather than fall into the same cycle of retaliation, he withdraws from school life, unsure if he can endure this ordeal again.
Seeing an opening, Crow teams up with Chi Ho to repair Eagle’s motorbike and, crucially, to coax Eagle back to school to help root out the troublemakers. The plan culminates in a public confrontation under an expressway overpass, where Crow, Chi Ho, and their friends face Bull and his gang. They are not initially a match for Bull’s crew, but at the last moment Eagle arrives and delivers a decisive defeat, turning the tide.
With the threat cleared, the classmates forge new bonds and the school experiences a rare moment of peace. The dean, surveying the aftermath of the fight, decides to let it slide, recognizing that these students chose to stand up for the school and for one another rather than give in to fear. The movie closes on a note of earned courage, loyalty, and the power of solidarity among rivals and friends alike.
