Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked

Ian Hawke, Dave's former boss, returns in this film disguised as a pelican working as the ship's safety supervisor. His motivation is to keep the Chipmunks and Chipettes under surveillance to prevent any disruptions during the voyage, continuing his pattern of trying to control or exploit the musical group from previous movies.

Ian's presence is revealed early when Dave discovers him perched on the ship's deck.
