Alien 51

The film opens with a woman being chased through the desert by an unseen creature. She wakes up, revealing it to be a nightmare that foreshadows the danger lurking in the desert.

Traci and her boyfriend Gibson drive through the desert at night while he rambles about Area 51. Traci tries to keep him quiet and focused on Las Vegas, creating a tense and distracted atmosphere on the road.

Gibson pulls over to change a blown tire after Traci's distraction. He vanishes when he steps out, and Traci finds only a bloody tire iron. She lights a cigarette and drives away, but an accident soon traps her as a monster lights the leaking gasoline and sets the car ablaze.

Several carnival workers are attacked by an alien at a small desert carnival, drawing the attention of Dr. Cleo Browning. The danger brings Sheriff Sam Cash into the picture as they discuss how to respond to the creature.

Dr. Browning talks with Sheriff Cash about the possibility of killing the alien. Their plan is overheard by Roxanne and her boyfriend Albert, who begin to see an opportunity in exposing government experiments on animals.

Roxanne tries to slash the sheriff's tires while Albert acts as a lookout. She soon discovers Albert's dead body and screams in horror, realizing that the alien has claimed another victim.

Three carnival workers set out to capture the alien and add it to the sideshow. They plot to seize the creature during the chaos and profit from it, indifferent to the danger around them.

Browning and Cash locate the alien's home inside a tunnel in the mountains. Cash lowers Browning into the tunnel with a rope, and she discovers the alien's child. She sends the child back up to Cash, who guards it as they prepare to leave.

The three carnival workers sneak up on Cash, gun drawn, and demand the alien child. He hands over the child to them, and they throw him into the tunnel, ratcheting up the danger for Browning and the others.

Cash and Browning escape and return to the carnival, interrupting the sideshow to reclaim the alien child. Their action escalates the confrontation with the carnies and the lurking Mother alien.

The Mother alien arrives near the sideshow as Browning confronts the threat. Browning is attacked by the alien, but she fights back with determination, trying to survive and protect the others.

During the escalation, one of the carnival workers fights Sheriff Cash and shoots him. The injury adds a personal stake to the showdown and heightens the tension among all present.

Dr. Browning stabs the alien during the struggle, and the creature collapses. The immediate threat seems to be over, at least for the moment.

A woman carny steps in to confirm the alien is dead, but the creature suddenly leaps up and kills her. The final moment confirms the danger remains even when the crowd believes the threat has passed.
