A Cinderella Story: Starstruck

Finley Tremaine lives on a farm in Dreary, Idaho, where she dreams of becoming an actress. News breaks that Jackson Stone will film a Billy the Kid musical in town, drawing attention to the small community. Her stepfamily reveals that she can audition only after chores, and they admit they plan to sell the farm, threatening Finley's future and her beloved pig Jon Ham.

Finley completes her chores but is ordered to take Jon Ham to the butcher. The family reveals they intend to sell the farm, tearing at Finley's hopes of staying. She protests, knowing the pig is linked to her late father's memory and to her dream of acting.

Finley tries to sneak Jon Ham to the audition, but the vet is unavailable, so she goes to the town auditions instead. The pig slips its leash and runs wild, dragging Finley into a mud puddle as her family arrives. Jackson helps her up and is impressed by her performance, while guards drag him away and Trevor orders Finley to leave.

Valerian and Saffron return to the auditions with Kale as their manager. Finley conceives a daring plan to enter in boy disguise as Huck, then recites the Full House theme to prove herself handy with performance. The plan works, and Trevor hires Saffron for his looks while Valerian’s farm is offered as a shooting location, complicating Finley’s disguise when Saffron becomes attracted to Huck.

Kale tries to position himself as Jackson’s manager. Jackson is cast as Billy the Kid, Saffron as a saloon girl, and Huck as an enemy in a fight scene. Finley endures changing in and out of disguise to do chores, while a break reveals Jackson’s longing to return to his uncle’s ranch; Huck’s flawless rope trick leads Trevor to recast Kenny’s role with Huck, forcing Finley into an awkward kiss with Saffron.

Valerian and Kale meet with Louise, the real estate agent, to discuss selling the property. On a day off from filming, Jackson finally meets Finley and they go on a date, but Kale deduces her secret and calls her back. Finley’s stepfamily locks her in the barn, heightening the tension as Huck's true identity hangs over the production.

The next day, Huck cannot be found and Kenny is brought back, but botches lines or injures himself. Jon Ham fetches the keys so Finley can escape, and she returns to the set as Huck. Instead of delivering lines, she reveals her true identity and her feelings for Jackson, then kisses him. Trevor immediately offers her a part in a new movie.

Louise uncovers Finley’s father's will, which declares Finley the legal owner of the farm. This discovery allows Finley to kick her stepfamily out and reclaim her home, ending the harsh living arrangement that fueled her dream. The will ties the future of the farm to Finley’s success as an actress.

Moved by Finley’s passion and the farm’s future, Jackson decides to retire from acting and become a guardian of the farm and its animals. He supports Finley’s dream and agrees to help her, reinforcing their bond. The two share a final kiss as they plan a future together on the land they saved.

Trevor offers Finley a part in a new movie after her revelation, validating her talent and perseverance. Finley finally gains recognition for her abilities beyond the disguise, and the farm is secured as her rightful home. The story closes with Finley stepping into the spotlight while keeping the farm safe.
