Naruto Shippuden the Movie

The film opens with a prediction that Naruto will die in battle against a monstrous threat. A funeral is held in the Hidden Leaf Village for Naruto, drawing mournful looks from villagers and shinobi alike. Tsunade stands at a window, wondering whether fate decides everything.

A rogue named Yomi attacks a shrine to retrieve the spirit of Mōryō. He offers his own body as a temporary vessel until Mōryō's original body can be found. The threat of Mōryō's return is set into motion.

Yomi dispatches four subordinates to eliminate Shion, who can seal Mōryō’s spirit and foresee deaths. They are granted chakra beasts to boost their strength. The conflict centers on neutralizing Shion before she can seal the demon.

To slow the advancing stone army, the Land of Fire sends out several advance teams. Naruto, Sakura, Rock Lee, and Neji Hyuga are assigned to guard Shion and escort her toward the shrine that contains Mōryō's body. The mission tests their teamwork and resolve.

The team fends off the four assassins pursuing Shion, and she prophesies Naruto's imminent death. The prophecy weighs heavily on Naruto and heats up the stakes of their mission. Trust and tension rise as danger closes in.

The apparent killing of Shion turns out to be a decoy: Taruho, Shion's servant, uses the Shadow Mirror Body Transfer Jutsu to imitate her. Naruto grows wary but remains determined to protect Shion. Neji instructs Naruto to escort Shion to the temple alone.

Naruto resumes escorting Shion toward the temple while Sakura, Lee, and Neji push back their pursuers. Shion explains that her predictions depend on taking others' lives to protect her own, creating ethical tension. Naruto insists on surviving and keeping her safe at all costs.

At the mountain temple where Mōryō's body is kept, Naruto and Shion reunite with Sakura, Lee, and Neji and confront the waiting stone army. Naruto stands firm to shield Shion as she moves toward the sealing site. The arid air is thick with impending danger.

Shion heads inside to begin the sealing ritual, but Yomi tricks her into starting inside the barrier with him present. Mōryō's spirit reawakens and reunites with his body. Naruto fights to hold back the stone army so Shion can complete the rite.

Kakashi, Might Guy, Shikamaru Nara, and Temari join the battle and destroy the stone army. Naruto arrives to rescue Shion from the crumbling ritual. The allied effort shifts the tide as danger intensifies around them.

Shion uses the bell to alter Naruto's fate, intending to sacrifice herself and Mōryō to save him. Naruto stops her and channels her chakra to form Rasengan. He drives the Rasengan into Mōryō, obliterating the demon.

In the final scene, Shion explains that Mōryō was born from humanity’s darkest thoughts and that another demon will arise someday. She vows to continue the line of priestesses who suppress such threats. Naruto agrees to help her, unaware of the second meaning of her question about becoming the father of her child.
