The film opens with Simar and Nikhil surviving a serious car crash. Simar emerges unscathed while Nikhil sustains severe physical damage and psychogenic amnesia. Doctors reconstruct his leg and face, and Simar commits to his rehabilitation.

Months of physiotherapy follow as Nikhil is discharged from the hospital. Simar stays by his side at home, guiding his recoveries and helping him rebuild independence. He remains wary of the future but clings to hope for a normal life.

The couple returns to their home, and Simar's devotion seems unwavering. Nikhil slowly regains trust as routines fall back into place. Subtle doubts begin to surface as he revisits fragments of his past.

Nikhil follows Simar to a secluded house where she and Kabir are supposed to meet. A tense confrontation erupts, but a chase through the woods reveals that Kabir was never really there. Simar confesses that Nikhil killed Kabir on the night of the accident to protect him.

Nikhil's belief in Simar's confession collapses as she explains the motive differently, aiming to rebuild their relationship after the murder and his amnesia. He starts to reconcile with Simar, unsure of whether to trust his own memories. The revelation reframes his sense of identity and loyalty.
