Wrong Turn 2: Dead End

Reality show contestant Kimberly drives through the West Virginia backcountry and accidentally hits a teenager. He bites her lips off, revealing himself as a cannibal. Three Finger and Brother then kill her by slicing her in half with an axe, dragging the two halves away.

With Kimberly missing, Mara reluctantly takes her place as host of The Apocalypse: Ultimate Survivalist during production in the forest. She introduces the contestants—Amber, Elena, Jake, Jonesy, and Nina—and tries to keep the game running despite the danger surrounding them.

Three Finger and Pa murder the television crew in the forest and abduct the show's host, Dale. The violence marks a swift swing from a competition to a fight for survival inside the cannibal-infested setting.

Mara and Nina hide in a bedroom when cannibals return to a cabin. They witness Ma giving birth to a deformed baby, and flee through a toilet pit to escape. The encounter reveals the disturbing, new horrors plaguing the survivors.

Pa hurls a hatchet that strikes Mara in the head, ending her attempt to flee. The cannibals gather Mara's corpse, and the group's grip on safety tightens as fear spreads through the survivors.

At the lake, cinematographer M and Elena have sex before M leaves Elena to tan in her underwear. A noise draws Elena's attention and Sister emerges, slashing Elena to death with a machete.

Ma and Pa hijack the RV and capture M, tightening the cannibals' control over the contestants as the survivors scatter.

Dale escapes captivity and confronts Three Finger in a brutal fight. He shoots the cannibal into the lake, ending their direct clash and proving his survival skills in the deadly forest.

In the mutant family's cabin, Dale encounters the old gas station attendant who reveals that inbreeding and effluent dumped into the river caused the cannibals’ mutations. The man, revealed as Three Finger's grandfather, attacks in revenge and is killed when Dale uses dynamite to blow him up.

Nina returns to share her account, and the other survivors discover they have been eating meat—Kimberly’s leg. The grim realization deepens fear and guilt as they scramble to escape the cannibals.

Nina is separated during the escape while Amber and Jonesy are killed looking for help. Jake rescues Nina from a pit, and the two leap into the river to flee Sister's grasp.

Amber and Jonesy are killed while searching for help. Nina and Jake enter the mill and discover a garage with stolen vehicles. Jake witnesses Ma decapitating M on a live-feed monitor, heightening the sense of danger.

Dale sneaks into the cannibal compound to distract the family. He kills Brother and Sister with a dynamite trap and frees Nina and Jake, but Ma and Pa kill him in revenge. Nina and Jake then flee toward safety, escaping the immediate danger.

Nina returns to the mill and kills Ma and Pa with the meat grinder, clearing a path to escape. They find Kimberly's sportscar and drive away, leaving the cannibals behind as they vanish into the road.

Three Finger, who survived being shot by Dale, nurses the mutant baby and feeds it with a bottle of effluent and a human finger. The final image hints that the cycle of brutality may continue in the harsh, isolated world.
