Wrecked

A man wakes up severely injured in a wrecked car at the bottom of a ravine with amnesia. He splints his leg, scavenges for a way out, and endures the harsh forest while hallucinating about a Woman. He confronts a woodsman thief, a dog, and the strain of memory as he pieces together what happened during the robbery. His quest to reach a road and call for help drives the suspense to the finale.

The Man's wife appears in his waking life as a recurring hallucination, pulling him toward or away from truth. Her presence haunts the crumbling memories that form the spine of the mystery, serving as a tether to his past and a reminder of what he may have witnessed during the robbery.

A man emerges from the woods to loot the wrecked car, threatening the protagonist with a gun. He flees with some of the stolen money, leaving the Man injured and still trapped. His fate becomes intertwined with the cougar’s predation later in the story.

A Belgian Shepherd dog appears in the forest, guiding the Man toward safety. The animal's presence adds an element of loyalty and companionship, helping him follow a trail to a cave containing a working cell phone, though its ultimate fate remains uncertain.

The robber named Raymond Plazzy orchestrates the armed robbery and holds the Man hostage during the escape.
