Together, they strive to realize their dream of establishing a nightclub, with Mason paving the way for Cole’s debut performance.

It is during this fateful night that Cole crosses paths with the illustrious DJ James Reed, a once-celebrated figure in the industry. James invites Cole to a party where they indulge in a spliff laced with Phencyclidine (PCP), whisking Cole into an otherworldly and disorienting high. The following day, he wakes up in James’ luxurious home, a world away from his usual reality. As Cole and his friends face dwindling prospects from their initial nightclub canvassing, they shift their focus to seeking employment with Paige Morrell, a firm specializing in real estate solutions offering more stability. Back in Los Angeles, James presents Cole with an incredible opportunity to open for him at the highly coveted SummerFest music festival, igniting Cole’s excitement for what lies ahead. However, the dynamics between Cole, James, and Sophie grow increasingly complex, sparking tension that leads to James reevaluating his ties with both. Amidst these disruptions, Squirrel looks for opportunities outside their familiar surroundings, while Mason encourages the friends to celebrate their futures by securing a house together.

Tragedy strikes when Squirrel falls victim to an overdose, sending shockwaves through their tight-knit group. This painful incident compels Ollie to face the grim reality that their dreams might slip away, even as tensions rise between Mason and Ollie regarding the tragedy.
