Abhi meets Shreya in Milan. She falls in love with him and proposes, but he declines. When Shreya asks why, Abhi begins narrating his own flashback to explain his hesitation.

Abhi and Vasu realize they both love Maha, a medical student and aspiring singer. They decide to be honest with Maha about their feelings and ask her whom she loves. Maha tells them she loves Vasu. Abhi accepts the situation and remains friends with both of them.

The love triangle strains their friendship. Vasu begins prioritizing Maha and spends more time with her. On the day Abhi's mother dies, Vasu forgets to visit her grave and instead attends Maha's parents' anniversary, sparking a bitter confrontation. Abhi feels deeply hurt and leaves for Milan.

Maha dies in a car accident four years earlier, leaving a void in the lives of Abhi and Vasu. Her death becomes a lingering sorrow that shapes their choices. The friends drift apart as they cope with the loss.

In the present, Abhi meets Ramya, Vasu's sister, at his own restaurant and learns that Maha died in a car accident. He feels a heavy responsibility for the pain his friend carried after Maha's death. The revelation pushes him to engage with the group again.

Sai's wedding is canceled due to a petty dispute between Sai's mother and the bride Srushti over a dog issue. Maggie, the wedding planner, is stressed about loans she took to fund the event. Abhi steps in and pays Maggie's loan installments, promising to cover the debt.

The group shifts to a trek to divert themselves from the canceled wedding. En route, taxi goons try to push a monopoly, shoving Maggie and triggering a fight. Abhi is struck by a goon, and Vasu comes to his defense. After the clash, Abhi opens up that he never knew Maha's true feelings and would have come to help Vasu if he had known.

Maha's belongings are delivered to Vasu by her friend Usha, giving him a tangible link to Maha's life. This moment deepens the emotional currents among the friends as they move forward.

With Abhi's help, Sai confesses his feelings to Srushti and she accepts his proposal. The two families begin preparations again and the wedding plans resume.

Satish tells Abhi that Vasu loves Maggie and suggests letting them be together. Abhi leaves the wedding setting without notifying anyone, and Maggie and Vasu later wonder what happened to him. Satish ends up revealing the truth to them.

The trio eventually discovers Abhi at the Ooty railway station. They confront the distance that had grown between them and begin to repair it.

Vasu reads Maha's diary and learns that she actually loved Abhi, not him. A day before agreeing to Vasu, Maha had proposed to Abhi, but he asked her to accept Vasu so he wouldn't become depressed. Maha later understood Vasu's love and changed her mind. Abhi explains that when he lost his mother, Vasu had taken her place in his life, so his priorities remained with Vasu.

Vasu accepts Maggie and Abhi's union, recognizing the bond they share. The film ends with everyone smiling, signifying repaired friendships and renewed happiness for the group.
