Veeram draws inspiration from the folk tales of North Malabar, recounting the story of Chandu, a skilled Kalarippayattu warrior driven by ambition. His journey mirrors elements of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, exploring themes of courage, destiny, and the consequences of unchecked desires. The film portrays a dramatic narrative rooted in regional folklore and infused with universal dramatic tension.
