Hyderabad’s Adarsa colony, a microcosm of people with varied mindsets, opens the film as a stage for courage, loyalty, and tangled loyalties. Murali Krishna, a gallant young man, arrives with his disabled sister Mallika and makes a home there, quietly becoming a steady presence in the lives around him. He soon draws the attention of a plucky figure, Ashta Lakshmi, whose bold personality and warmth light a new spark in his world. Murali’s protective nature and sense of justice quickly set him at odds with those who abuse power, even as he must navigate his growing bond with Malathi, a woman whose own loyalties and desires complicate the path ahead.

To secure Mallika’s future, Murali enrolls her in a college run by the ruthless Chevupogu Peddiraju, a powerful tycoon who operates from prison and wields influence from behind bars. Peddiraju harbors an intense feud with Murali and pursues him with his brothers, while a separate thread involves Malathi, who becomes Murali’s beloved amid the chaos. When the colony learns that Murali actually lives there, plans are made to force him out, but the true owner of the land, Kondaiah, reveals Murali’s status as the rightful heir, turning the fear of eviction into uneasy acceptance among the residents.

Mallika’s plea weighs on Murali—she urges him to quit for her safety—but he stands firm. He even bails out Peddiraju, challenging the villains with a resolve that only hard experience has sharpened. The tension escalates when Peddiraju strikes Mallika, and Murali rushes to shield her, a defense that lands him in trouble with the law. A nefarious scheme by the villains to kill the DCP places Murali in a precarious position; yet he manages to protect the DCP and escape, further entangling his fate with the city’s law-enforcement system. When the police question Mallika, she shocks everyone by revealing that Murali is not her brother and has no family ties to him—she has kept him at her side as a loyal bodyguard. Yet she soon clarifies that her actions were meant to safeguard her “brother,” a line of protection kept close to her heart, and she spins the tale back to the community that Murali’s bond with her runs deeper than blood.

The story then shifts to Vizag, where a Zamindar’s only son is born into a storm of danger and resistance. As a child, Murali finds shelter with the benevolent Kondaiah (the giver of life’s second chances) who entrusts him to a drunkard named Pothuraju. Murali grows up as a man who shares the hardships of the poor, rallying against oppression and standing up to the DCP’s abuses. He forms a bond with the Pothuraju family, though they sometimes take advantage of his generosity. A troubling episode arises when Pothuraju fakes Murali’s engagement by displaying a photograph of Malathi, prompting Murali to chase after her only to realize the truth and offer a sincere apology when she resists him.

Meanwhile, the Zamindar’s land dispute with Peddiraju intensifies, and in a brutal turn, the Zamindar amputates Mallika’s leg to press his claim. Parallelly, Malathi steps forward with Murali’s proposal of alliance, and his supporters push back against Peddiraju’s brothers’ assaults. The Zamindar learns of Murali’s vast following and, driven by fear and greed, manipulates Pothuraju to expel Murali from the fold. Kodaiah (Kondaiah) reveals Murali’s complicated past to him, while Mallika seeks Murali’s help, and he embraces that duty with renewed resolve. In a pivotal and remorseful moment, Peddiraju kills the Zamindar, but expresses regret and entrusts Mallika’s future to Murali. Enraged by the betrayal and driven by a fierce sense of justice, Murali surrenders himself for safety and is transported to Hyderabad, vowing to return where his presence will strike fear into Peddiraju.

Back in the city, the DCP resurfaces as an undercover ally, quietly supporting Murali’s cause. Peddiraju schemes to release Murali by orchestrating a mock engagement for Malathi, but Murali refuses to bow to deceit, drawing strength from Ashta Lakshmi’s fearless spirit and Malathi’s steadfast devotion. The undercover DCP confirms Murali’s innocence, and the stage is set for a climactic confrontation. In the final act, Murali brings the villains to account, the city witness to his unyielding courage, and the story closes on a joyful note with the marriage of Murali and Malathi, a union born of struggle, loyalty, and an unbreakable bond.
