In Karaikudi District, a factory owned by the influential Nedunchezhiyan becomes the flashpoint for a larger battle over local environmental damage and the rights of ordinary people. Parishuddam, a passionate social activist, leads protests against the factory’s waste, drawing attention to how the plant’s pollution has devastated nearby villages. The tension thickens when a local thug, Guna, and Nedunchezhiyan’s network threaten and bully the residents, including Dwaraka. Porus steps in after Guna oversteps his bounds, taking him to Nedunchezhiyan’s doorstep and witnessing a stern rebuke from Selvam, a powerful local strongman who has his own code of honor. Faizal, Dwaraka’s friend, confesses his love for her, complicating the web of loyalties and resentments that already simmer beneath the surface.

A parallel thread follows Ilanchezhiyan, known as Ela, Nedunchezhiyan’s younger brother, whose own misadventures with a girl named Divya push both families into increasingly dangerous confrontations. Ela’s actions spark a disturbing chain of events: Divya and Dwaraka briefly find themselves pushed to the edge, even attempting suicide in moments of despair. The simmering conflict spills over as Nedunchezhiyan and his henchmen try to outmaneuver Parishuddam, while town rivalries and family loyalties become tangled in a dangerous dance of threats, bribes, and retaliation. The plan goes into motion when Ela accidentally abducts Dwaraka as she stops by a medical store. Ravi and his gang kidnap Parishuddam and drag him into Nedunchezhiyan’s factory, while Nedunchezhiyan himself orchestrates a shocking act of violence: he and his men behead Parishuddam, a brutal signal that they will stop at nothing to silence dissent.
