Vellaichaamy dedicates his life to his three younger brothers, placing their well-being above his own happiness to the extent that he would even give up marriage if the woman he loves plans to send them away after the wedding. The brothers stay under the care of their wise and affectionate grandmother, and the bond between them grows stronger as they all work together to keep their family intact. Vellaichamy works hard to provide for everyone, and his devotion earns him unwavering love and loyalty from his brothers in return.

The eldest brother, Muthu, earns a living as a cook in a modest hotel, but a turn of events pulls his life toward Gowri, the woman he loves. When Vellaichamy learns of Muthu’s feelings, he travels to the city to propose marriage to Gowri’s side, only to face an insult that shakes his confidence. Circumstances later bring Muthu to the city by chance, where he ends up working as a cook in the palatial home of Gowri. At first, Gowri greets him with coldness, but as she discovers that he was once her childhood playmate and witnesses his humble, respectful nature, her attitude softens. Nandini turns out to be the daughter of Dharmalingam, who is Vellaichaamy’s long-standing foe and whose sister was the woman Vellaichaamy once refused to marry. Dharmalingam initially refuses to approve the match between Selvakumar and Nandini and pressures Vellaichaamy to leave the village after the marriage in exchange for his consent. The tension deepens when Nandini’s cousin, who is motivated by wealth, abducts her. In a bold turn of events, Muthu steps forward to protect and rescue her, underscoring the family’s readiness to stand together in danger.
