Declan learns that the hit TV show Belle, in which he stars, has been canceled. He shares the surprising news with his fellow castmates, leading to mixed reactions among the group as they come to terms with the show's end.

In light of Belle's cancellation, Kip, an aspiring writer, suggests using the time to create their own horror movie. The idea excites the cast, especially after they agree on the condition that Kelly will star in it.

As the group comes together to work on Kip's script, they face significant challenges. They juggle between improving the content and navigating Kelly's dissatisfaction with her role, leading to creative tensions among them.

Chrissy introduces a pendulum, which sparks an idea for creating a séance scene in their horror movie. Despite initially being resistant, Chrissy agrees to utilize the pendulum during filming.

As the group films the séance at night, they experience unexplainable occurrences. Declan hears thunder on a clear night, Kelly feels an eerie gust of wind, and Chrissy sees a shadow, creating a chilling atmosphere.

The next day, Chrissy joins a video call with a blackened eye, revealing she has been unintentionally harming herself. Initially dismissed by the group, they soon realize that something sinister is affecting them all.

After experiencing supernatural events during the séance shooting, Kip decides to cancel the night’s filming. The group is spooked and understands that they are dealing with something beyond their control.

Kip wakes Alex to inform her that Chrissy has uploaded a horrifying video of an unknown figure recording her while she slept. Frantic, Kip tries to reach out to the group, but Chrissy abruptly disconnects.

Declan rushes to Chrissy's house after witnessing her struggling against an unseen attacker. He arrives just in time to see Chrissy in a terrifying state, choking herself after passing her pendulum to him.

A few days later, Kip calls Declan to inform him that Chrissy's body was discovered and her death ruled an accident. The group debates whether to continue making the movie, facing the grim reality of their situation.

Recognizing the pendulum's connection to the malevolent entity, Declan decides to dispose of it. However, he is ultimately overpowered by the entity, leading to his tragic demise.

Unbeknownst to them, the rest of the cast is invited to discuss the renewal of Belle for three more seasons to honor Chrissy. They are momentarily uplifted by the news but unaware of the malevolence surrounding them.

One of the producers, Bobbie, discovers a package from Declan that includes materials for the séance and Chrissy's pendulum. Igniting the darkness once again, Bobbie recites the séance, sealing their fate.

As Bobbie recites the words, the entire group finds themselves overwhelmed by the evil presence tied to the pendulum. The producers leave, oblivious to the horror that has transpired, thinking it was a prank.
