Suhana Bhatia, the young deputy high commissioner, finds herself caught in a web of deceit after a night with a man who turns out to be Mohammad Humayan Akhtar – a mercenary using hidden cameras to blackmail her for secret tender documents. The blackmail draws the attention of R&AW and a rival diplomat, Jacob Tamang, whose investigation ends in his murder by Humayan’s men.

When Suhana discovers that her trusted driver Salim is leaking information—not to the ISI but to a R&AW operative, Prakash Kamat—she is forced to kill Salim in self‑defence. The ensuing chaos pits her against Sebin Kutty, who initially accuses her of treason. After Suhana shows Sebin the incriminating photos and video, he realizes she has been framed from the start. Together they uncover that the real mastermind is Manohar Rawal, the foreign minister, who has colluded with a Pakistani defence minister to assassinate Pakistan’s prime minister on Indian soil and silence the extradited terrorist Yaseen Mirza.

The duo tracks the mercenary—now revealed as David—to a Delhi dargah where the Pakistani prime minister is slated to visit. With the help of a tracking device placed on Kamat’s house, Suhana and Sebin race to the site. They spot David perched in a tomb overlooking the shrine, ready to fire. In a frantic confrontation Suhana overpowers him, and David is killed, sparing the prime minister’s life. The plot unravels: Rawal, the conspirators, and their R&AW contacts are exposed and face arrest.

In the denouement, Suhana’s father Dhanraj Bhatia, who had doubted her promotion, meets her and finally expresses pride and remorse for their distant relationship. As Suhana is being debriefed, a mysterious woman from a secret agency called Black Cat approaches her, offering a role that would use her newly proven skills. The woman hints that David’s death was staged and that his employer, Zulfikar Hashmi, still operates, even kidnapping children for his forces. Sebin receives the same invitation and leans toward acceptance, leaving both protagonists at a crossroads.

The closing moments suggest that while Suhana has cleared her name and saved a nation’s leader, a larger, shadowy conflict beckons—setting the stage for a possible sequel where she and Sebin become operatives of Black Cat, chasing the remnants of the conspiracy.
