Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal

Heavy metal fans and critics gather at LAX as the TransContinental 747 carries Craven's farewell concert. The event is broadcast live by Z-Web-TV, while the crew runs safety checks and the crowd largely ignores the safety demonstration, hungry for the show.

Craven and his band perform a string of hits onboard, but an unseen impostor corners Craven backstage, murdering Craven's manager. The mood shifts from celebration to chaos as the hijack begins to take shape.

FBI agent Kate Hayden tracks Nick Watts, a hacker who accessed the live broadcast. As Nick and Kate connect the dots, they realize the hijacking is beyond a simple stunt. The stakes rise with the knowledge that the plane is now under attack.

The impersonator takes control of the aircraft and Craven watches in horror as Captain Collins is killed. The hijack escalates from a dangerous stunt to a lethal takeover.

An explosion rocks the FAA tower, triggering a major manhunt as authorities scramble to understand who is behind the attack. Investigators suspect Craven or someone close to him might be involved.

The man posing as Craven is Simon Flanders, a member of Guardians of the Gateway, a demonic cult. The hijack becomes a confrontation with a mythic threat tied to the cult’s millennial agenda.

Erica reveals herself as a high-ranking member of the same cult and the mastermind behind the hijack. She and Simon reveal a plan to crash the plane into Stull, Kansas, to unleash dark forces.

Damen, Craven's guitarist, is killed after attempting to subdue the conspirators. The loss deepens Craven's resolve to survive and retake the flight.

The hijackers push toward Stull, aided by misdirection and control of the plane. The co-pilot MacIntosh is pushed toward a grim option to crash the plane. The tension escalates as the crew follows the doomed plan.

Craven frees himself, confronts Simon, and defeats the impostor. He then dispatches Erica in a hand-to-hand sequence, neutralizing the mastermind and halting the crash threat.

With the immediate danger gone, Craven works with Nick and Kate to guide the descent, staying in contact with Kansas City International Airport. They coordinate to bring the jet down safely through a storm.

Craven lands the plane at Kansas City International Airport under emergency crews' watch. The passengers disembark to cheers as Craven receives a standing ovation from the crowd on the tarmac.

Reporter Jen Shore on board shares the dramatic ending with viewers, sealing the story of the hijack and the hero's survival. Craven is hailed for saving everyone on board.
